Guns N Roses Uniting Three Generations of Music Lovers in India

Some artists speak to generations past, while others are only understood by the youngest in our midst. These two fan bases co-exist under the same roof but outwardly cringe at the thought of having to spend three hours listening to the others favourite music especially LIVE. One set of music is too old-fashioned, while the other is too hard for some tastes.

And then theres Guns N Roses!

GNR falls into a remarkably select group of artists who actually defy space and time and do what most international artists only dream of achieving. They fall into the iconic and legendary category of Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Queen and The Doors The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Madonna and even so far back as The Beatles. These artists defy traditional rules, they inject a super-charged feeling of naughty rebellion or youthful abandon into fans both young and old and they literally undeniably unite three generations of music lovers.

Enthusiasts who started listening to Guns N Roses long back when they launched their first vinyl in July of 1987 are now in their 40s and still can t get enough of Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine and Paradise City and vividly remember it like it was yesterday (and so does virtually every fan since then!). Parents who were cool enough to listen to their kid s music back in the 80s are also heartfelt fans of at least that first album are now in their 60s and smile at the memory of those iconic songs. And the youth of today rock to them and all the newer tracks because the music is timeless and still ignites that spark of rebellion we all crave from time to time, especially when we re young.

Celebrity music man DJ Whosane! sums up Guns N Roses iconic status perfectly. He said, I remember back in the late 80s and early 90s when Paradise City and Sweet Child of Mine were staple diet at every party. Back then, rock ruled. But even today anytime those tracks are played it s a surefire floor-filler. That says a lot, it shows the kind of quality substance and mass appeal in their music. GnR Rocks!

Well, Mooz Entertainment, the company bringing Guns N Roses Live Tour to India in December, has been experiencing something new around the office. You see, the Mooz Team is comprised of three generations of GNR fans spread around various cities and each one is claiming to be the biggest group of GNR fans in the company! I guess only time will tell and their behavior at the concerts will crown one group the official winner.

But one thing is for sure! Guns N Roses is really only the second international act to hit India other than the insanely talented Santana this year who can really claim that they bring a smile to and can get three generations of fans on their feet, jumping and singing at the top of their lungs.

It s going to be an amazing show. 180 minutes of non-stop rock for every single Rock N Roller in India. Whether you are young or not-so-young-anymore, Guns N Roses is going to play just for you! With heart and soul.
